Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and a writer, who has won numerous awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. Her family was an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. After working as a photographer's assistant She turned her focus towards modeling and acting. In her first two films, she was recognized and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within just three short films MacGraw became the most popular female box-office star in the entire world. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
