Her mother Maxine was a secretary who left her family members in the year 1982,, leaving her daughter to be partially fostered by her paternal grandmother Eleanor in Kitchener Ontario. Jacqueline Hennessy, a identical twin who is a magazine writer who lives in Canada and John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. are her twins. The father of Hennessy is Irish, and Swedish.
