Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, songwriter, singer and actress. She's famous for her role as Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as a singer in the rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been used in various films and TV shows, such as How to Be Solo Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. At just three, Momsen performed professionally in a Shake and Bake commercial on national television in 1997. Momsen's acting career was put on hold for a period of three years until she got the lead role in Misconceptions. Momsen was also a part of Saving Shiloh 2006. During this time. She also auditioned for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the role was instead awarded to Miley Cyrus.
