Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comedian and performer, is well-known for her part as a member of the cast on the show 'Saturday night Live.' After attending an improv workshop at the age of nine, she began her career as an actor. She was hoping to build acting a living, but soon figured out she was destined for comedy and changed her focus on improv shows. She started her career by performing on cruise ships with fellow performers from Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. Strong performed in popular shows like Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest and Virgin Daiquiri, an all-female improv troupe. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she debuted on "Saturday night Live" the 39th Season, as a featured cast member as a co-host of for the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. The character of Cecily from the show 'The Girls You Wouldn't Begin a Conversation with at Parties is the most memorable part of the show. The same year, she made her film debut in 'How to sponsor a Uterus.
